Carney is into the indefinite status so I don't think he'll be around anytime soon. One guy I forgot was Dennis, get him in can play a range of positions might even fix that halfback problem.

Apparently Buttriss has a shoulder injury. We have to bring someone else to play hooker though whether that is Herbert, Dennis, McIlwrickor Mick Picker as Tongue can't play 80 minutes there.

Got my animals mixed up ;-)

Don't think Herbert or McCrone really make much difference, need to bite the bullet and go for Mick Picker or Sam Williams. Halfbacks make their impact pretty much from the outset, Luke Walsh did it with the Panthers. If you look at Manly they were pretty average with Foran at halfback but with Hodkinson at halfback they have looked a much better side and now they are looking like their premiership winning side again and that's without Stewart. Put simply play a proper halfback not a makeshift.

Scored a try for SL today apparently.
Has been playing there all year so far.

And from what I saw in the trials , he should probably stay there a little while. Not bagging him but its a big step from U20 to NRL.

McCrone isnt on the bench? he is the starting half. If Mogg goes to half at some stage , McCrone may go to hooker.
