Actually, draws are still possible...

• If the scores are equal at the conclusion of normal time, a period of extra-time will follow whereby the first scorer of any points will be immediately declared the winner. • If no points are scored after 5 minutes, the teams will immediately change ends. • If no points have been scored after another period of five minutes, the game will be declared a draw. • At the commencement of the first extra period, each team will be allocated 2 extra interchanges.

I dont believe it, i actually agree with you on something
ozbash . The golden point in my opinion should only
be used in SOO and finals football.These morons from
the QRL not voting for this in SOO is a traversty for
rugby league, comes back to my belief there should
only be one governing body running this game, it should
be the NRL and thats it, just my 2 cents.

Oh yeah... we're all 100% agreement with you there sydraider.

The draw is part of the game when it comes to the regular season and they should ditch the golden point before its too late.

But Origin and semis are Ok to have extra time... and the QRL are morons... Ozbash said as much to me just the other day.

the only governing bodys, imo, with any clues are the QRL and NZRL who oppose the stupid golden point rule in any situation...

the QLDers and kiwis think along the same lines on this.
wayne bennet is a man of foresight and has the interest of the game (not his wallet) at heart.
so does the chairman of the QRL who,se name escapes me.

it seems to be the clowns in sydney who are stuffing things up.

Buuut.. There should be extrs time in Origin just as there is the Semis or any elimination game. It has nothing to do with Qld or NSW or Sheep. Its just commonsense.
