The past few weeks we have looked more like the Panthers from 3 seasons ago, I really thought those days were behind us.

Really, this season should be about getting Blake, DWZ, Cartwright and the Jenninges used to first grade so that they can be ready to fire when we gain some type of forward parity when Merrin arrives. Ideally it would be with a better half than Wallace, but that's not going to happen.

We are going to struggle against any team with a halfway decent pack unless we suddenly find an irresistible attacking verve.

As much as he is overrated I think our pack misses Docker, he adds an element of toughness up the middle that we simply don't have at the moment, Cowboys forwards bending the line with ease

Moylan is nowhere near being a viable half option. He throws a good last pass. When we have looked for him to create he has been poor.

I thought Blake was ok. He didn't get any points but he did a few things that almost worked and if they had would have been spectacular. The whole team look like they aren't really enthusiastic. Korisau just stood around a few times and let Cowboys run past him. Mansour still has awful defensive reads, it's kind of ridiculous he hasn't been able to fix it.

In defense we are soft as shit. Just barely even bothered.

Also Whare with a hamstring. Fantastic.

I think it's going to be a long season. We need Soward back and we need an attitude readjustment.

Wallace is a shit half. It's that simple. Sure, our forward pack is weak, but I don't see why that suddenly makes Wallace bullet proof.

Trust me, no-one's wet dream has Wallace as the senior half charged with leading the team around, kicking astutely, and creating chances. No-one. Not even Wallace himself, I wager.

A shame we didn't get Thurston. Without him Cowboys are nothing. Poor Blake, Mansour and DWZ made to look ordinary by a master.

How is it that one week the ref says "no try" video ref sees that it is a try but stays with the on field decision. Then tonight the ref says try the video ref can't say that it's not but rules "no try". Bugged if I can understand it.
