?
Hasn't managed to play a full 80 in reserve grade yet.
Played 70 minutes last week.
Might be good for 60 in firstgrade.

I thought Stig has played more than Roberts this year.

Stig is more a 5/8 whilst Roberts is more of a half which is what is needed to replace Gidley.

It will be interesting to see who Bennett chooses which may boil down as who has the most minutes in them.

Stig had no off season because of leg and groin surgery. He has had 3 games since last year and hasn't finished any of them.

Roberts had a full off season and played in 3 trials where he went really well before picking up a broken eye socket. He was able to stay in near full training and has had 2 games back where he played a full 80 in both.
He is fit enough, but playing shit.
Stig is playing well, but struggling for fitness.

Us by less than 10 and I'll be disappointed.

I want this to be a clinical 80 minute performance and put the Eels to the sword. They are there for the taking despite their win over Manly.

I'd go for Roberts, heard some good things in the off season, hopefully he hits some form starting this week as he is certainly fit enough to play 80 mins currently.

We also need a goalkicker which is another reason to lean towards Roberts.

Don't think Sau will get a chance to redeem himself .

We *should* win this but can't afford to be complacent.
I reckon we need not only a regular kicker but also a backup kicker in the team.
Neither Stig or Roberts sound promising to me. Roberts over Stig but we really need an in-form replacement even if it means shuffling around a bit.
Boyd in the halves, Pete to fullback.

Good point, don't think Pete will get a run which pretty much makes Roberts our next choice goal kicker

We should win but the last two times we have played Parramatta at Hunter Stadium have been the worst 2 games of football perpetrated on the human race. They have a habit of sucking us down to their level of incompetence. Let's hope for no repeat.

With Kids out, i think we should go for Tyrone. We need a natural playmaker rather than a stop-gap one. Anyone know if Will Smith is up to first grade level any time soon? I've seen him play a few times and he is dominating NYC but that doesn't say a hell of a lot.

We're not the side we used to be. Sure results might suggest otherwise but our performaces have shown that we are mentally a much stronger side and we'll compete for the whole 80. We're gonna give parra a hard time regardless of the score.

I recall a few seasons back virtually playing Parramatta into form with a pathetic Knights performance at home. Just before they went on that huge run of wins to get to grand final.

Contain Hayne (no mean feat) and we have this one won. Like the Sharks game, this is one we need to win if we're serious about being thereabouts at season's end.

I'm calling it now, Houston has broken his arm, it didn't look good!

Wow maybe not, just hyper-extension it seems.

We have a good chance now before half time, come on!
