Easter Weekend. Start of the school holidays. Would be good if I could scrape enough money together, find some cheap accomodation and take the kids down for a bit of a holiday!

If you wanted to, your best bet would be to try the wotif.com.au or lastminute.com.au websites about 2-3 weeks out from the weekend.
The wife, myself, the 2 boys, 2 sister-in-laws and a friend are going over, staying at the Hotel Rockford Adelaide. We did have cheap accommodation but that fell though as they got overbooked.

I will be up in the Hunter Valley with the gf (knew a couple of months ago that I would not be able to afford Adelaide)... we have already reached an agreement whereby we can go to as many wineries as she wants, just as long as we can find a pub on the Saturday night to watch the footy.

It's all about compromise. :lol:

I've checked out the prices, I couldnt even afford to share the costs. Think I might find some friends and watch it in a club somewhere too...

For some reason Mark now thinks he is a brisbane fan (His Dad and Mum and twin brother joshua are panthers fans) So I am thinking I will buy them both some t shirts and take them to the game...

it will be their first game... expect I will be crying... (as always)
