The twin ball kick trick wasn't the only rough call we got, there were loads of "no calls" ect. Not saying we couldn't have played smarter and won the game, but the adverse conditions didn't do the young fellas any favors. The kids will get better with age, wish I had as much faith in the coach

We seem to get murdered by the ref every week.

Some of the penalties blown against us were very harsh. Usually before a penalty is blown you can see it coming and are hoping we get off the tackled player. Yesterday there were two or three penalties for ruck infringements that were genuinely puzzling. Conversely, we received, from memory, 1 ruck penalty all game. It is infuriating.

The fact is that if our shithouse 7 could make effective tackles instead of continually meekly falling of the attacking player he is trying to tackle & if he didn't touch the ball & hence we weren't on the receiving end of his dumb passing catching & kicking(also understanding that on the 5th in ur own half the ball is to be kicked as per early in 2nd half v sharks) we'd most likely be sitting on 8 premiership points.At least 2 of the parra Cronulla & Knights games would've been won if our 7 was competent.

We'd be better served with selecting an effective one on one defender who provides a decent pass to our most brilliant attacking 3/4 in Simona than carrying this massive liability.He is in his 3rd full yr of NRL on Monopoly money & continues to inexcusably regress.

It's time for Taylor to send this dummy to play in Stringers team.

No, not an excuse, but it did end up costing us 6 pts which we now know, cost us the game.

Not sure of the rule, but whenever a second ball is on the field, the game stops to have it removed?

Would have been interesting what would have happened had they scored from the fumble, as in what the bunker boffins would have made of it?

And the NRL's response to the second ball incident on Facebook was to make a joke out of it about Simms playing for some EPL team and saying the correct ruling was made. The only alternative they say could of been applied was a scrum 10 out to Newcastle.

It was not the correct decision ! The NRL dont even know there own rules. Fmd i dont care because we are shit and should have defended it , but the least they can admit they were wrong . Wonder what would have happened if Simms picked up the ball and not kicked it and claimed a try.?
Knowing our luck they would have just awarded it.

To be honest who gives a f**k !! The whole team can be out for all i care , the season is over yet again , we have had our 2 games to bluff the media into thinking we are packed with a side of exciting young guns that score amazing tries. Same shit always , give it 4 weeks before the floggings start and then the sack the coach BS , and the cycle shall go on and on year after year after f**king year!

Tough 4 matches coming up w/out our best forward.Geez it's going to be difficult.Woods along with Teddy are irreplaceable.Its very likely we wont win another game for a long time.I wonder if Taylor still believes "we will finish in top few teams at end of season".

100% agree with you. At the extreme very worst the play should of went back to the play the ball and the 5th tackle re-played. It was extremely unfair that a player was put off due a second ball being kicked in their direction.
