we worry about tomorrows game first before next week. The titans will be a stern test.

I expect RCG to walk off field the best forward tomorrow.

Like the Bulldogs trial, huh?
Not quiet that easy but we could be up against a reserve grade forward pack. Sharks 4 best forwards could be missing.

With 2 points on the line there are no excuses. Our equivalents would be us missing RCG, Merrin, Yeo and Kikau/CHN.which would require a miracle to overcome.

Remember when we played their reserve grade side during origin a couple of years ago and got tuned up?
The debut game of Dylan Edwards and the last first grade game of Will Smith for us. Hardaker at fullback and Cartwright at 5/8. Cleary running the show at 18. We were just as disrupted as them. Lewis, Barba, Holmes, Ennis, Tagataese, Feki, Prior, some reserve grade side.

It's always the same. Our disrupted squad is forgotten and everyone acts like we were at full strength when talking about the opposition.

Shit i remember that game now. Will Smith alone made it impossible to win. Some of the biggest derp moments at the worst possible times.

Im still not sure what position he was worst in.

I have mixed feeling about Will Smith. I don’t for a second think he should be in any first grade team - his few moments of brilliance are far outweighed by the errors, lost balls and poor defence.

But I have no doubt that he was always giving 100% and had a burning desire to try to cement himself a regular first grade position.

More than anything his size lets him down - he probably could have been a decent first grade player 20 years ago but these days it just isn’t possible. So many of his errors come from being smashed in tackles and spilling the ball, or failing to catch passes because he is looking up at a player who is about to smash him, or simply getting run over the top of in defence.

Smith's issue wasn't his size (though it didn't help). His issue was his utter derp moments. Who could forget the cold drop on the goal line against the Sharks(?)? One of the great Carige moments.
