Round 7 v Broncos (previews, spoilers, post match discussion...)

Obviously our defence out wide will cop a battering after the 1st 3 try's,but what's the go with our big guns making simple errors.Wesser,Clinton and Preston all dropped the ball ,Gower passed into touch and Priddis kicks on 2nd or 3rd tackle a couple meters out from the try line.

Also,why are we playing Gower injured this early in the season.He's playing nothing like the 1st few rounds this year.

I don't know what else to say.

Gower should have had a few weeks off.

Our right hand defence has serious issues.

Our completion rate was just disgraceful. We created plenty of opportunities to at least keep in touch with Brisbane, but it was all that dropped ball. I think the effort was there (unlike last week), it's just that we looked like we were chancing our arm and not really adapting to the Broncos defence.

Gower should not have played, he just did not look right. Our right hand defence was worse than ordinary.

All up, a lot more disappointing than last week.

Re: Pritchard's try - I thought it was OK, the tackle did not look completed, but another couple of seconds surely should have heeded a "held" call... he was wriggling there for a while.

Credit where credit is due, Bronco's played a great game of footy.
Silly mistakes put us out of the game.
I hope Gowie can pull himself together, when he's on the field it seems everyone expects him to run the show, so they alll seem like to be playing with his injury, whilst he can play with an injury. If you get my drift. In hindsight it probably would have been better for him to take a week off but now it seems like it might hurt them more in the longer run for it.
Oh well. I'll be looking forward to next Friday then.
