Round 7 v Warriors at WIN

Glad you had a read through of my posts and this was the best you could find?

Yes exactly, I did say that almost 12 months ago and that I believed Flanno was underestimating the job at hand. Judging by our woeful defence and effort shown in our losses, I reckon I was spot on the money.

You might think he was being honorable staying at Manly but i disagree, he already applied and got appointed for a head coach role and Manly would've certainly understood and found a more than capable assistant coach im sure.

He didn't want to come and take the reigns last season because it would've only put pressure on him and exposed him for his poor coaching and lack of innovation and ideas to really improve our club.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for those back to back premierships if I were you mate!
Don't flatter yourself, I remembered the post at the time. Just went back to confirm and was shocked looking at all the vitriol you post.

You have a perverse desire to assassinate Flangan’s character and ability to coach.

"pathetic excuse for a coach, a fool, a fraud, an imbecile, ridiculous, a Drug cheat, a nepotist who ‘promised to be the Messiah’. Give me a break!

Your opinions do not come from a place of reason but are an investment in hate, which reflects poorly on your own morals and ethics. The only benefit being, it promotes your distorted and inflated sense of self, up there on that pedestal of yours.

Combine that with the childish manner of your interactions with those who have offended you sometime. Your desire to be always proved right supersedes any desire for factual information. You ignore anything that doesn’t suit your narrative.

I hope this helps you get better understanding of yourself.

You really should seek professional help

Not sold on CT in 1st grade. I just feel he is slow and another liability in defense coming of his wing which we dont need. I watched him in reggies...
yeh anyway i will be cheering him on if he scores a treble. Go the Dragons.
I think for this game i might stock up each time i go to the bar, I might need it + I have to climb over a few to get to the aisle.

Well said mate. Can't go attacking Flanagan's character and then go behave the way he has on this forum.

Those without sin should cast the first stone.

Yeh I dont know if it is my imagination, but is Luc injury prone in the past few years
Luc is not listed as injured. I’ve also been told he isn’t one the best player at training , relies more on his skill set more than fitness.
im assuming he will play NSW cup to improve his match fitness. He was blowing hard the last time he played.

I’m kind of with you tbh, but it’s only based on trials.
Flanno seems to like him, so I’ll hold off till I see more.

I'm thinking that he has a couple of niggling injuries which are taking longer to heal plus he hasn't really had a pre-season which was intended for all players to go through with the new fitness staff to get the players fitter and stronger etc. so he most probably is going through a rehab and one on one training program to lose a bit of fat and replace with muscle and be better toned up before he comes back.

He could be injury prone as he does put in when he plays and can re-injure what he has had or suffer a new injury. There are not too many players who get through a season with no to little injuries - one guy is Cameron Smith from the Storm - no wonder he ended up playing 430 games for them.

He is indeed not the fittest. However, he is fitter now than he was in his first coule of games. Flanno will pick him when healthy. He did a calf before the last game and there were only 5 more days until this coming game. He's out with a calf injury.

I think the real lesson is the coach has no integrity whatsoever which his past history also shows.
That's not fair. I don't know him, but it's clear that he has integrity. For example, he appears to be a very loyal person.

It's not just Flanno who tells fibs. I think you have to take what most NRL coaches say with a grain of salt. They are like salesmen. They are always trying to sell a narrative.

As for past history, the "mistakes" that he made were all in the service of trying to win. His past history is actually evidence of his strong desire to win.

Agree; leave Lomax where he is for the year! Best position for him and the team. He could also snag a State of Origin jumper with strong showings against the Warriors and Easts on Anzac Day.
I suspect Zac will do the same from centre in the kick chases and I suspect we will unleash attack with hand in ball with Rava and Lomax on the right

Rava may even make as many metres from right wing

I dont see any downside as along as Tui catches the bombs down our left defence

Tui pretty much is only a left side winger or centre in his juniors

for me Zac was picked at right wing to start the season to help of our FB Sloany was under the pump in a game as well as be that kick chaser that is a nightmare to minimise his impact

I think we may see a few tries we score down our right on the weekend

The band is back together

I've always found that using the ignore button makes this forum a lot more palatable.

We will be going down the right and so too will the Warriors. I hope our right is better than their right on the night and we put up a good fight and our players don't get too uptight and give a good sight.

he's listed as calf (indefinite) - unless thats a smokescreen? Hard to imagine why tho - was one of our best vs Manly and Newy
