A better side would have put 50 on the Panthers. Still happy with the win. Getting there slowly....

Looking at the post game stats, the panthers should have won. They had 53% of the ball and 38 tackles in our 20. We had like 12 tackles in their 20...

Greg Alexander just said on Fox that we would struggle to make the finals regardless of Gidley's injury, but if he misses the season we are almost no chance.

This is going to be a running theme in the media, I just hope our own players don't buy into it too much because it doesn't have to be the case and it shouldn't derail our season as much as all the experts are going to say it will.

The issue is what to do after Mullen/Roberts if one of them goes down too?

It would almost have to be:

1. Kev Naiqama
6. Boyd
7. Mullen/Roberts

Certainly not ideal

If we lose one of them then I'd have to say Brandy is probably going to be on the money, unfortunately.

Roberts straight in to fill the number 7. He'll be fine. Boyd's never played 5/8. Can't start him there now.

We pretty pretty awful out there at time... If you only watch the highlight reel, we'd look bloody fantastic though...

Kidley's injury could be a blessing in disguise... Give Roberts valuable game time and experience and we could really do with Kidley in the finals. Great defence and he might just be that fit x-factor we need to get over the line.

Mason played like 3 minutes but they were quality. Extremely happy with the signing.

What happen to Snowden tonight?

We'll make the finals with or without Gidley. We just won't do much damage when we're there.

Brandy is my favourite commentator cos he bases his estimations on fact. We are not a top 8 side yet. No point disagreeing with the plain obvious.

Well if you're judging it on fact then we are in fact a top 8 side. If you're judging it on everything else however...

That's a fair assessment I'd say. We would need to improve immensely to challenge the top few sides. And stay pretty injury free.

Who was it that made the predition that Clint Newton would score against us? Well their predition was only half of that. He got a double.

Would have well and truly put them to the sword had our ball handling been better but I'm still happy with that win

I dare say it - he was slow.

You mean Wes Naiqama right?
