Only concern with Vai Vai is he has only played for 2-3 weeks coming back from prolonged leave.

I just don't want to ruin these young guys by rushing them in too quickly

Walsh wasn't terrible yesterday.

He is being strung by his balls due to having a prop rotation which includes a combo of Galea and Ciraldo

Yeah, playing Galea as a prop is testing my faith in IC. (infact playing him at all).

One of the positives from yesterday was Burns distributing the ball from dummy half decently and chiming in with a couple of nice runs. I think he may have found his niche.

Do you guys think Austin did enough to hang onto the #6 jersey?

I thought Austin was great. He offers so much in attack and a great running game with excellent decision making on passes. I think he deserves to stay in the 6, and Burns looked sharper at 9.

I would drop Kingston, keep austin at 6 and burns at 9 with nafe on the bench. offers a lot more versalitiy.

Also, Newton needs to be dropped.... seriously his effort is pathetic. The ammount of time he misses tackles or just doesnt even try is woeful. Cut Newton and Tighe for next week I think...

A team that can score some points perhaps- what is it now 180 minutes without a point- Imagine 0 all and the Panthers get a penalty 28 metres out from the Newcastle try line in front of the posts- what would be be the choice if you were captain- kick for touch or kick for goal??

That would have been some try if he just ran over the top of Moltzen. Would have put us back in the match too.

He looks tough to tackle, has a good step and can pass the ball. Looking forward to seeing him play more.

Satini was 1 of the many 20's to be injured. Rubbish timing top of the table clash & we lose 6 regulars. Vaivai is right to go. He was outstanding last week only behind Moylan.
