At least this time we wont have some sook hanging his head and blaming everyone else for his shit play. Roosters will be tough but where there is a will there is a way, we have restored some pride in our jumper and we need to erase the embarrassment of last year both mentally and physically.
Yep and that same Sook is doing the same at the Bronco's .........

Didn’t watch too much of the roosters game but thought I seen enough to say their edges are very very vulnerable. Penrith were running simple drills out wide and easy tries.
The way our back 5 are chiming in COULD/SHOULD be a high scoring first half again by us.
Though once again like the Parra game. We have to remember it’s us lol the dragons!! We lose these games which should be very winnable and one sided.
Crighton & Butcher should be out! That’s a huge leg up!
im putting Sloan for a double. Gutho 2 assist .. Huge week ahead!!

The Roosters no easy beats but they have some inexperienced players in their backline and others who have been underwhelming.

We know ANZAC day games usually don't pay too much attention to who plays - everyone lifts to new levels whether they are average Joe's or immortals but dragons have the edge for sure.

It's not about avenging what happened last year. It's just about playing with the same pride we have been but with better discipline and more patience in attack. We can totally get the win. It's in our hands.

Go Dragons!

And I think that’s where we went somewhat wrong against manly.
Didn’t show the football much respect . Tried scoring every single play and didn’t build much goal line pressure

A win here is more than just 2 points in the grand scheme of things.

If we win it'll be the first we have won 3 consecutive games for the first time since 2022, proving we are finally on the path of consistency (and the right track)

It'll be out first win on ANZAC day since 2022 and avenge last year's utter humiliation.

We can play in front of big crowds playing against sell out crowds has become our new bogey team last year we lost against Panthers at the gong Dogs at Kogarah Roosters at SFS, Sharks at Wollongong all see our crowds and we were beaten convincingly in all games.

Come on Saints fire up!!!

Watching Robbo presser I thought the same. Gave it to the refs complaining of multiple bad calls. We might suffer if a square up is deemed necessary by the refs…
Robbo does this every year. Always gives the ref's a spray the week before ANZAC day. Stupid officials fall for his rants every year. Watch for penalties and 6 agains for the roosters coming out of their red zone

Got my tickets for this one, shouting my adult son for his birthday. I cannot wait till Friday, the last time we got to an Anzac Day game was the miracle comeback a decade or so ago.
That was my last Anzac Day game too. I was ready to leave. My son convinced me to stay. Ah the optimism of youth. A decade or more of watching Dragons games since then has tempered the young fellow’s optimism. He‘s now just as pessimistic and jaded as me!

Happens every year.

Thought their halves didn't give them much. We should target the union centre can't pronounce his name.

Teddy still dangerous but slowed downed, Edwards doubled his meters they looked a bit gassed at the end.

Just have to match them up front and I reckon we can put points them.

Hoping Latu gets a run with Egan and JDB, should slow them down.

Taking a stab at the 17 for this week:

1. Gutherson
2. Sloan
3. Suli
4. Holmes
5. Finau

6. Flanagan
7. Ilias

8. Couchman
9. Cook
10. Guler
11. Egan
12. Su'a
13. de Belin

14. Liddle
15. Klemmer
16. Leilua
17. Stewart

Guler & Klemmer could potentially swap? But having Guler back gives us more options RE: the props rotation.
Is Stewart okay with regards to concussion protocols? I might have missed something...
Plenty putting their hand up for the extended bench, and potential to come in, both in the backs and the forwards.

I haven't been able to get out to many games over the last 18 months. The last time I was in attendance where we won was vs Souths at Kogarah, Round 15 2023. I really want to break that duck this week, and what an occasion to hopefully do so.

LETS GO DRAGONS !!
