Games like today when our thin veneer is removed show us for what we actually are both in terms of players & style.

Slow, clueless, ponderous, clueless, lazy, impotent, clueless, unimaginative, directionless did I say clueless are all appropriate plus a few others I suspect.

A couple of wins against good sides always seems to shift the scales to the positive side and the fan base try hard to keep it there despite the obvious and glaring negatives.

Despite the poor roster issues we should be better than the tripe we serve up in important games like today.

For all those that were cock a hoop over the Manly & Storm games and professing how much we have turned a corner & improved please explain todays abysmal effort?

We can beat a good team occasionally and we do beat good teams that have an off day but we do those things sparingly and should not treat them or think of them as being indicative of our play.

We play too poorly too often to suggest we are well coached.

Today was full of hope we turned the corner bur the team looked lost.

For me nothing has changed its the same shit different year.

Is there a harder team to follow than us in the NRL?

We make a rod for our own back by jumping to conclusions.

We do it with our juniors, we do it with our signings and we are doing it with S F as well.

Reality is a hard thing to accept when you love something too much even when it fails you.

I knew our halves and forwards were a worry.
Poor recruitment to fix those areas.
Relying on our juniors I dont agree with.

We need seasoned players.
Maybe Flano Sr is not going to work.

Too many times he said last year floggings won't happen.
The management has run this club into the ground .

Was at game in an elevated position so could see lots of the structure (or lack thereof) .
Key points -
1. We don't have any Alpha forwards - why on earth did we buy Klemmer and Gouler. They are Beta tapes?
2. Our defence moves up 1-2 steps but not in a straight line. The Roosters defence were moving up 3-4 steps in straight-line and tackle in 3's. Roosters like nearly all other teams so far this year make easy metres against us in attack.
3. Our halves whilst sort of reasonable in defence offer ZERO in attack. They do not challenge the line and heavily telegraph their offloads.
4. Ilias's kicking game is predictable and mediocre. Makes Ben Hunt's kicking game look like Lionel Messi's. He needs to be pensioned to Super League immediately.
5. When Ilias kicked short no Dragons players put pressure on the Rooster catchers.
6. Finau is susceptible under the high ball. Nunawading burnt him badly on the outside at one stage.
7. Our backs appear just too small when returning the ball and all to frequently are pushed back.
8. Suli has no idea how to set up his winger with an overlap. He has zero footwork. 24 Tries in 145 games is horrific metrics.
9. There was a decent representation of Dragon supporters out there today. We had a teen girl attending her first game. On the way home she admitted she has no desire to attend any more Dragon games. So sad!
10. The Roosters gave away a brand new BYD Shark 4 wheel drive to one of their supporters. They also gave out inflatable clapping sticks.

Sadly the Dragons are off the pace in all aspects of the game both on and off the field.

Limp.
And to quote Jessie Ventura - slack jawed.
And it cost me $150.

And Flano should make a game shop out of that effort.
Put all their names (including his son) on a chocolate wheel.
Spin it. Whoever names comes up - there are sent back to park football.

And that game may well be it.
I have a great life to live - without them limp dragons.

SF will not take this team to a GF let alone the top 4… and to think our juniors are the future is fanciful given that our best are starting to leave for more attractive options
