Just off topic for a sec is anyone else having problems with the ads on this website ...... Finding it really hard to view anything ads take over the phone .......
Yes in bloody deed I do ! You are not alone Illusion I can assure you .

That is the reason I do not post any more , or at least as often as I once did - because that bloody stinking ‘ History ad ‘ prevents me from doing so . The screen jumps all over the place , the words take an eternity to appear on screen , quite simply it just takes too long to post .

There is nothing wrong with my iPad as I have no problem with it at all - only on this forum ? ? ?

I realize that my fellow members - who hold me in the highest esteem ( ) must surely wonder where I am ? However I am still alive and kicking , but most unfortunately my words of gold are becoming less frequent than before - I am sorry to disappoint .

If you want to be in the game with a chance you can’t be at 29% possession in the first half, how do you fix that? Don’t drop the effing ball, don’t push stupid passes when you are in the game, don’t give away 6 agains with stupid ruck infringements. Pretty simple stuff and not in any way the coaches fault.

In relation to Cook and Liddle, I noticed at one point both of them were on the field at the same time in the second half. Looked like one of then was playing lock,
Is happening every game. Liddle comes on at about 10 before oranges and Cook stays and usually moves to lock when JdB is taken off. Cook even moved to centre in one game. That did not go well.

Well instilling discipline into his charges is one of the coaches jobs, so it is Flannos fault. These silly errors are costing us possession, momentum and games. The repeat offenders should be given some time in Reggies.
The most depressing aspect of this loss was the comprehensiveness of it. Two of our tries were from the Roosters either dropping the ball or just clocking off when the game was over. Not much skill in either Sloan or Finau's tries. I'm struggling to think of one Dragons player who played over the top of his opposite number. Even the redoubtable Gutho, imo, was outplayed by Tedesco. The Roosters without Collins, Butcher and Sam Walker played at a premiership challenging level. Robinson's brilliant coaching and in particular what he was able to extract from Sandon Smith brutally exposed Flanno (and his assistants) deficiencies.

So despite our current lofty position in the eight, once again we're left with the reality that this bits and pieces team with coaches of questionable quality is ultimately in a battle to avoid the spoon. Happy rest of season everyone!!

Buck stops with Flanno. It's his job to get the week right and the team prepared but it looks like we spent the last week on the piss (bonding). I wouldn't be resigning Flanno no way in the world especially knowing Moses the worm is his manager. We are in deep deep trouble and it's only going to get worse it's like 1 step forward 3 steps back

As for Cook playing a full game when we have Liddle who comes on at the end of games is mind boggling ....... Surely Liddell won't stick around .......
Yes mate totally agree...been banging on about this for weeks.......from memory Lids came on with approx 11 mins to go in the 1st half...most were gassed by then....and the score of that stage was 14 to 6..who knows he could have made a difference if used a bit earlier

Yesterday's match saw Jacob Liddle's introduction coincide with a contentious Head Injury Assessment (HIA) for Damien Cook, raising eyebrows.

Andrew Voss openly questioned the validity of the HIA on air, noting that broadcasters could not identify any incident in the footage to justify it.

Given Shane Flanagan's history of bending rules and his questionable ethical track record, this incident hardly comes as a surprise. It remains to be seen whether the NRL will scrutinize this matter further in the coming week.

So, who made all these mistakes?
It is more than obvious where the mistakes in all areas of staff recruitment come from

But that doesn’t give them an excuse for their abysmal poor performances.

Plenty in this place have been on the S F train and push back as soon as there is any criticism.

Mary & Hook endured much more scrutiny and criticism than S F ever has respite his poor record.

It's horrible waking up to realise your team is going nowhere near finals again.

Landslide floggings can happen. The storm copped one last week but are now back on top again. It was more the fact that our team didn't show up and were on the back foot from go to woe. From the very first tackle it was evident.

I said I would give this new team time to gel before I start bagging...there's just so many problems across the park and against the last place team on ANZAC day.

Throw in Latu's defection and it caps off one of the worst weeks since the covid BBQ.

Every match is pivotal but if we go down to Tigers I'd say that is all she wrote for certain. With two new clubs coming in soon and Haran in charge we will be screwed for some time yet.

I had enough time to cool off after this inept performance. We always seem to be bogged down at our end of the field, constantly defending our goal line. It’s a combination of our forwards inability to get down the other end and on the rare occasion we do, our halves don’t end up getting a result on the last play, like a repeat set.
Our right edge defence is a shambles, Suli needs a spell in reserves, his defence is as bad as always, but most alarmingly, he is completely useless in attack. Has he beaten his opposite number at all this season?
Sloan’s defence has not been much better, but he at least offers a threat on attack.

I think I this season will closely mirror last year, we won’t string more than 2 wins in a row. Let’s hope like last year we are still a chance at a chance to make the 8 with 3-4 rounds to go.
Suli's defence and attack will improve if he is selected as an edge forward.

Leilua to the front row because he needs to borrow his defence to the middle section of the ruck. His attack would much more effective up the middle.

The problem is that we would need to find a replacement center.

Finau is quick but like Sloan last season, his defence and his ability to take the high ball under pressure is very suspect. I'd say it is time to promote Lawson to first-grade.

We need to try something but if the last three coaches are to go by, nothing like this will happen.
