Did you watch them play yesterday? They were terrible all over the park they scored 4 tries that would of been enough if they defended well.

Yeah I watched them, they lost. They haven't won since Reynolds got hurt.

We lose both halves, both centres and a couple of our best forwards for a few weeks, I dont care what the reserves are doing no NRL team can cover those injuries for multiple weeks without dropping some games.

Souths weren't making those errors in Round 1 though. I think they went too hard to early and are feeling now. I don't think Reynolds playing would of won them any of those games. They were poor against Bulldogs and Parra with him.

We will drop some games our attack is a mess Which isn't a surprise why. We missed 1 tackle the second half yesterday. That's the defence that alteast keeps us in games til we get players back

Brown running out as captain surely means Ivan wants to retain him. Hopefully it happens.

Hopefully but not necessarily. He didnt have any other options. Manu is further on the outer in terms of re-signing I would guess. Moylan is the only other guy with experience and likely to be around long term. I think Cleary recognises Moylan can grow into one of the best players in the world and is giving him the time to do that organically without having to worry about switching to the halves or captaining a team. Really the only other option was Simmons.

DWZ has got a grade 1 dangerous throw charge which carries 112 points with an early guilty plea. Itd mean he misses the test but no time with us. Id feel terrible if he missed another opportunity to represent NZ.

How many times have the journos said a club is talking with a player and it not been true? You think we weren't looking at Packer? Didn't table Matulino an offer? Didn't have a look at Willie?

They had Packer signed here. The club said we didn't even speak to him. The list goes on. Player managers leak these stories to get the club to make or raise an offer. He's off contract & a test player or course we would be interested. The cap only goes so far
