Utai is definitely worth a jersey, but he can't play on the wing - he's an absolute liability in the defensive line (let alone under the high ball). Have him come off the bench to spell some forwards or not at all.

Lawrence's defence was not that bad. Those first two tries he gad to cover the inside & his own man because Moltzen isolated him. He stayed in position to prevent an overlap which is the right thing to do. Our back rowers are among the slowest lateral movers in the game, thats what creates all that space out wide.

Lawrence in tight defends well but when he has to defend a flowing back line attack he makes plenty of terrible reads.It's not that he can't defend,it's more about him making bad decisions.This may be a result of lack of pace and confidence due to his hip injury.Maybe time to playnhim off the bench as a back rower and if that fails find him a ESL club willing to take over his contract

Agree mate.. If he was awesome in attack well perhaps his defence can be overlooked, but every aspect of his game now is well below NRL standard.Time to meet captain Meaney in state cup if he can even handle that now days.

Lawrence doesn't run in often. A lot of tries scored on his side haven't been his fault solely or entirely.

What I cannot understand is how nobody in this clubs conditioning staff has said to lose some muscle mass.

His hamstrings have been a problem since he debuted and he puts on bulk regardless.

Hell we can sign forwards and they drop size but the centre with dodgy hammys? Na bulk up son.
