does anyone know what happened?
did his injury get worse or did he break down in a training run whats the story

Went fine in captains run yesterday but apparently pulled up sore today. Or in other words doesn't wanna risk himself as he'd rather play for Australia next week

I read that he got through the captains run yesterday but they were waiting till today to see how he pulled up afterwards. If he's out then I'm guessing it has come up sore / swollen.

Hard to pick this one. On one hand they have Thurston out, but are playing at home with their last five games in order as W W L L W and a hell of a record against the Eels in bananaland. On the other hand we are starting to gain some confidence after the last five games with a L L L W W record. Both teams have a minor F/A negative score. Cowboys have a 3/2 win/loss ratio at home and we have a 2/3 win/ loss ratio away from home. My gut tells me If Mannah drops the ball on his first hit up we are in for a long night.

If we can't beat the cowboys with 3 of their 4 spine players out injured as well as their number 1 prop then we have massive problems.
We all thought that too against the Titans as Stagger alluded to a few posts ago.

I'd agree if we were at home. But this'll be a tough game up there. We're not big point scorers thus far, and so a few 50/50 calls could make a big difference to our fortunes. We're also short in the spine.
