Round four vs Parra doesn't matta

While it’s hard to see anything other than a comfortable Panthers win there’s always the usual unforeseen variables and given the way the games are being officiated who knows what could eventuate.

I am really concerned about the direction of our game, the whole sets restarts penalties what is a high tackle what isnt. What is worthy of a sin binning the whole refereeing of the game is largely a lottery sad to say.

there is zero consistency around anything. Im not suggesting anything untoward around the match officials its just you have no idea what or how they are going to officiate the contest.
I tend to agree Kilkenny, although I am more concerned that it is less of a lottery and more game management by the officials.

Who cares if we win by 100 or 1 .It will be a glorious day filled with marching bands parading down high street .The smell of roasted eels wafting from backyards
Parramatta river will overflow with the tears of there supporters.Bellowing loudly. but it was our year why why
Hindy and silverdale will hold hands and skip down parramatta road declaring we love penrith

Each game I’ve watched so far this season i just get turned off by the officiating seems every game is only 20 minutes in and there are all a half a dozen set restarts and as many penalties. Some teams get them on the first and others get them on the last i just don’t feel there is any method or logic around what is happening. Most games have seen blowouts on the scoreboard which as i understand the rule changes were designed to prevent. I am really worried about this non stop tinkering with the rules. It is a simple game, or once upon a time used to be.

He looked good on the weekend, agree him getting named is a show of faith, no reason to name him otherwise. Seems like he might play if Dylan was out.

I don't get to watch it these days cost of living and all even with the reasonable pricing. Good to hear he's coming along.

It's turned into touch footy.

Keep an eye on Tuivati. I think our best prop that we've developed in a long time.

Absolute nonsense. The game has never been more physical, some think alcoholic garbage men who "played" footy on the weekends were tougher but that's laughable.

I dont mean in toughness. Players are far stronger and physical.

Need to win this week if only because we’re babysitting and taking our four year grand daughter to the game. She’s been indoctrinated into the fold from a young age and she’s up for it. She’ll be proudly wearing her pink jersey grandma bought her.
That’s great as a grand parent, I get this stuff now as I have 1 year old granddaughter but residing in Newie of all places , hopefully she listens and follows the Nan and Pop, great times enjoy.

All Penrith are doing is playing within the rules. Ivan is a step I front of all other Coaches, it’s no surprise teams are frustrated at the mighty Panthers. At the end of the day it’s up to the Coach to understand the rules and have a master plan in place to win. Seems like it’s working.

Yep, all the refs are in our pocket. We wouldn’t win a single game without them.
That’s no what I said, you are at the top of the tree no doubt, hence other teams not wanting to be fighting this dickhead off as well, compare ur stats and our stats when fanboy referees…..as I said at the moment u are unbeatable without receiving biased decisions.

It’s a rugby league thing. When nobody else in the footy world cared about us, when we were shit and not winning many games, the howlers that went against us from referees were unbelievable. I’m sure the Eels fans have seen this too for your team. It’s not acceptable, but it happens. There should not be any bias towards or against teams. I’m not sure there actually is but all fans believe there is. IMO the Storm and Broncos are the favourite teams in the NRL in the eyes of the referees and the nrl management.

Who remember the great wall of Bondi? Conceded penalties like crazy and still won the premiership in 2013.

Ours is far more impressive, it evolves every seaason. Stonemakers working around the clock.
