She's actually quite plain, so the focus will always be on the clothes rather than her.

Rove is ordinary that when he's besides the guest, the guest will aways be more interesting, hence the 'star'.

They are number 1 while on stage, feeds their ego.

A lot like Mat Rogers. He likes union cuz he is always number one on the field, instead of "that great players son out on the wing".
