do roy and hg do the origin commentary anymore?

Don't know about this year. Not likely unless they do it on a non-commercial broadcaster like the ABC or JJJ.

They left JJJ last year and moved to MMM.

MMM wanted Roy and HG to do it in 2009, but 2GB blocked it due to some commercial broadcasting agreement.

No, although they would love to do it, they don't have the rights.

I understand that 2GB are trying to secure the ratings and have probably paid a large sum to cover the origin - but seriously - anyone who listens to Roy and HG is not going to listen to Ray Hadlee and friends.

One caters for the youth crowd predominatly, the other one (2GB) caters for people aged 60 years plus or people who enjoy listening to innane songs covered by old tools.
