Blake will with the ROY by a country mile, he is dominating more and more, produces spectacular moves his dink against the Knicks, his 360 payup and his ability to ignore the cheap shots and double teams is awesome. His play with Eric Gordon is growing game by game and daylight is second. The Clips have 3 rookies in the top 10 in the NBA which shows how young this team is plus a centre Jordan in his second year with Kaman being injured and Eric Gordon who is producing game after game and this team is so inexperienced and yet playing hard every time they step out. Blake is a leader and not only will he be ROY he will be close to MVP.

ROY certainty.

No way he is close to MVP.

But I really like the Clippers.

Rate Bledsoe, Gordon, Aminu and Griffen.

If they can get a quality 5...and I don't rate Jordon or Kaman, they would be fantastic.

You put someone like a Bogut there...someone still young and imposing...they'd be great.

But they need a quality 5 there.

Trade Davis and Kaman whilst there is still SOME value there...and get some young pieces back and picks...and Clippers will be good.

But he isn't a great 5.

He embodies the old clippers. He just doesn't care. Kaman isn't an elite 5.

Davis and Kaman are certainly trade bait, Kaman has hardly played this year due to injury and Jorda is a 2nd year player and going well, a superstar he is not but is progressing well. I know Blake wont be MVP but I am a long time Clipper fan so please allow me that indulgence.
Shaq only lets his son watch 3 players, Kobe, Lebron and Blake so that is a huge wrap from a legend.
I am a Clipper fan since San Diego and will always be one, and have made many trips to see them play and it was a pleasure to boo Michael Jordan as well despite him hitting 63 against us in 92-93 and we had a solid team that year.
I would be happy to trade Davis and Kaman but Baron has actually started playing well desoite his injuries in the past few weeks but Blake is a Freak and along with Eric Gordon they are forming a nice partnership.

Good centres are few and far between in the league, Kaman is a good centre, last season he averaged 18pts and 9 rebs, those are all star numbers.

Think that is most impressive for me about Griffin is his passing improvement. I think most expected him to throw up the points and rebounds but he's averaging 4 assists a game in December as he gets more comfortably passing out of the double teams. Unless the Clippers win 40+ games, he won't get a vote in the MVP race and rightly so - how valuable can you be if your team isn't winning over 50% of their games?
