Anyone able to give me an update on this young blokes condition either here or a bit more privately by PM?

I was involved at the NSWSRL and know a few of the guys who look after the UTS Jets but haven't been able to get in contact with them at all.

Good news! I heard that Roycey came out of his coma on Friday. Still has to undergo tests to see if there is any permanent damage, but still its great to hear he is progressing for the better.

Heard the same thing myself, he has come out of the coma and by all counts is sounding a lot better. Tests to be done and while he won't be playing football again, he may well be looking a lot better than was first expected.

The low life who got him has been suspended indefinitely until suh time as the league sees fit to listen to the matter again - which basically means hecan't play football no where now how for quite a long time.

I heard it happened legally in play, and that people started moving him when he lay there e flat (a big no no for spinal injuries). Guess my mail is wrong.

But it is great news to hear that he is out of the coma. I wish him all the best.

Nope, he got hit high, late and intenionally. He was apparently knocked out before he even hit the ground.

He wanted to know everything that is going on but is having trouble talking as his larynx was damaged I believe. Not fantastic signs but he is alert and stuff.
