Rugby 2005 running problem

G'day,

I've been having problems with running in Rugby 2005.
I'm unable to sprint diagonally (holding down the space bar to sprint) towards the top left corner of the screen (with Classic 2 camera view).

When I release the space bar and just run at a normal speed, only then am I able to side-step, pass or palm-off.

Does anyone else have the same problem, and if so, know to rectify it?

buy a game pad..i bought a playstation to pc connector which made every sport game feel 100x better.

they sell for cheap, just ask around at the small computer stores, there are also xbox to pc if you need.
