Many sports world over have had issues with racism, least of all league which has never excluded anyone or declined to face an opponent on racial grounds.
When the New Zealand rugby team went to Sth Africa many years ago how many Maori players do you think they were allowed to take with them?
0, and as a consequence they got flogged
Credit to NZ though, when Sth Africa came to NZ they stated that the Maori's would play and that if the "Seth Efrikans" didn't like it the airport was just to their left on the way out - NZ then kicked the f**k out of Sth Africa in a complete reversal.
Rugby league has never allowed this to happen, the game is played by all people and no one has ever been excluded because of skin colour, religion or any other protected characteristic.
