I'll bite.

In 2005, I'd moved to Newcastle largely because I wanted to be able to go to Knights games.

During the year, myself and a couple of others formed the Knights Crusade and went to every home game and as many away game as we students, dole bludgers, and young professionals could afford.

As you may know, it was a torrid year to be a Newie fan and we went on a record losing streak that I went to every match of - including a 9 hour bus ride, zero sleep, and standing in pouring rain to see us get hammered 46-0 or some shit by the Roosters.

Mid-year, I decided to head home for the weekend to see the folks.

Wouldn't you know it, that week we picked up our first win in forever to amend our losing streak. All of my mates were texting and calling in tears, and I had to watch it at home

I have quite a few memories about poor decisions I've made on the field, and some off the ball stuff that has cost me 10 and let the team down.


I don't regret throwing lobbed above the head hospital balls to some of my best mates, it's funny as f**k seeing them get hammered.
