Rugby League sequel Thread

Well, we are now at the end of January. As many of you have noted, I was hoping to have news to report on the situation with respect to a possible Rugby League sequel.

Unfortunately, while there has been positive progress on putting together a possible sequel, there are issues which remain unresolved. Because of this, I have no official news that I am able to report at this time.

Officially, this means that the possibility of a sequel is at this moment 'undetermined'.

While this news (or lack thereof) is almost certainly a disappointment to many who were expecting an announcement at this time, please take heart in the fact that there is movement going on behind the scenes and that Sidhe Interactive in particular is commited to seeing that a sequel appears eventually.

As always, I will report any news that I can here at the earliest opportunity.

My guess would be the NRL. Its just like the an additional team, there is a market for it so lets F^% the fans over for a few years while we sip our cafe latte at News Ltd headquaters. Someone get in contact with Tallis and tell them to get thier A$$ into gear.

Boys, just ask around at you local EB... They seem to be in the loop with some information about Rugby League. I asked a guy the other week about RL2 and he said his sources have informed him that the game has been in production for over a year now!
EB aren't totally reliable I know, but still interesting though isn't it?

I went to my local video shop some time last year and a guy was there telling the owners about the new games coming out.
At the time I was at the counter so I thought I would join in the conversation.
I asked about a possible sequel to ''Stacey Jones Rugby League'' and the guy said it was a definate and is going to be released in July 2005.
I asked him what the name of his company was and he said ''Gamewizz''.
They also got a website. www.gamewizz.com.
And he said he was a close friend of Mario.
He sounded pretty serious. He also said there was going to be a new Rugby Union game released in 2005, which is true so I hope he was'nt lying about the League.
