Rugby League Shows in the UK

Does the UK broadcast RL shows in the vein of NRL on Fox or anyother highlights/weekend wrap up show?

and if its a yes, can you please state the name of the show and the network its shown on?

The only FTA programme is the Super League Show on the BBC. It's always fecked around and doesn't have a set time or channel. It can be on BBC1 one week and BBC2 the next. It's only shown in the north too. Not a national programme. The only national programmes are on the subscription channels Sky or Setanta. Sky show the ESL on Friday and Saturday evenings. Setanta show the NRL. Not sure when they are broadcast. When the ESL teams enter the Challenge Cup the BBC will televise two games from each round live on the Saturday and Sunday on Grandstand and Sunday Grandstand. The final is given pride of place for about two hours on the Grandstand programme but as soon as the game's over they shoot off to follow the soccer scores.

Sky Sports show 'Boots 'n' All' on Thursdays along with a game from NL1. You can watch a stripped down version of the show online here.

Thanks, i was asking because i would like to see a highlights show of the ESL on Fox in Australia, and the only way it could happen is if it already existed in the UK.

Those of us who subscribe to Setanta can watch NRL on Fox, which isn't a bad show. However, although we get three live NRL games there's no longer a wrap up of the others. Shame really, because there's an hour long AFL highlights show.
