yeah, this, I am no expert on JAC's history, but on field he's a great addition, and off field, well, given Manu I am not sure why we'd have a problem
Yep, we have no line in the sand - we gave Lodge a contract.

Manu was a f**king meth dealer, that's next level in terms of the behaviour, the harms it leads to, and indeed the drug itself which is a f**king scourge.

Why should JAC not want to continue playing - and again, he's hardly the Lone Ranger amongst NRL players being linked to using cocaine once
Manu teaching others not to follow in his footsteps is far more beneficial to society than accepting someone who continues to lie.

I understand the strong emotions surrounding meth in New Zealand, we all have stories about its devastating impact. But rather than condemning someone who has lost our trust, giving Manu a second chance to make things right would lead to a better outcome than simply locking the door and throwing away the key.

False dichotomy.

Context is everything Meth, you remind me of some of shit tabloid sites that copy and paste snippets from the whole conversation. Keep reaching for something that's not there.

No, it's very much there and clearly. @JJ remembers it.

Why don't you have a chat to yourself and figure out which one of you thinks what you think. Is it the Wheeled Warrior who is wants to give a convicted meth importer a role mentoring our young players and is 'unsure of why people are harping on about the harms of importing meth', or is it the Wheeled Warrior who wants to 'guard our young guns from the influence' of a player who allegedly engaged in the harmful recreational drugs?

Wow, you're really reaching.

I’m not sure what you gain from grasping at things that aren’t even there.

Should I feel bad for supporting Manu in wanting a second chance and making something positive out of it? I don’t think so.

If you knew me in real life, you wouldn’t picture me the way your imagination does.

Leave JJ out of this. It's clear you have some unresolved issues, and looking back at your past posts, I'm amazed at how little you’ve changed. Honestly, you're comedic gold at times. I’m torn between feeling sorry for you and just ignoring you altogether.

but for a minor incident JAC doesn't deserve a chance? As above, we've signed worse, and have Vatuvei involved

I'm open to JAC coming over if he changes his stance and admits his wrongdoing. This could then serve as a valuable tool to keep our emerging talent in check as they rise through the ranks. We all know that many of our young players come from disadvantaged backgrounds, some with connections to criminal elements within their family or friend circles.

At this point, it's a firm no until JAC is honest about his actions and seeks the help he clearly needs.

How much would JAC be worth if we decided to make a play for him? I'm sure we'd prefer to spend our money wisely and hold out for a halfback, as we're already well covered in the forwards and backs. Another option in the halves would be ideal.

Obviously we won't have JAC, but we always bemoan the lace of pace and quality on the wings - he is both... we spend a lot of money on DWZ...

Agree, he's got the onfield runs on the board for sure. But he (and Dallin) will be 30 next year, that feels back end for a specialist winger, especially if outright pace is your biggest weapon.

If we were shopping for a wing I'd be looking for someone earlier in their career. That recent herald article about potential targets mentions Mulitalo who I reckon would be a great score.
