I would have him back if he inteded to put in 100% for the team.

He is a young kid. He had some people in his ear making him dribble some of what he said and/or it came across the wrong way.

He can play football.

Make no mistake about that.

For the right price he would be a massive yes.

Well i know i'd much prefer to welcome back someone like Bird who cared quite a deal about the club than entertain the thought of someone like Ferguson.

I know we have an abundance of back rowers, but people with the passion for the club like Bird who as i recall was reported to have walked into Stuarts office at the time and made it clear he wanted to captain the club one day, those are the type of people i want around the club.

Ferguson has an abundance of talent and people seem to think he is destined for greatness, possibly, but the biggest hurdle he faces is within himself.

Not doubting Newman's source at all, i just don't believe that someone who walks out on a club would then want to come back.
