Why do you argue with anyone and everyone and just make some shit up?

Its literally reported from inside the court that the police prosecutor wanted it adjourned but the judge refused.

It’s the Law?? I didn’t just make that up?

You’re quoting a Fox Sports article…. Not exactly a court transcript.

They wanted it adjourned to get her into court because they don’t have the evidence to proceed without her being present.

Exactly the story that has been circulating every dudes group chats for the last couple of weeks.

So whatsapp or facebook group chats between a bunch of footy fans is more believable than reporters being in court reporting on what transpired. Gotcha.

Yes there were photographs. According to media reports.
So why didn’t it go ahead? …. Victim statement, photographs….

Either way it doesn’t matter. He’s either innocent or the Victim doesn’t want it to go ahead and she’s convinced the Police to chuck it in.

He doesn’t get his day in court so it’s unfair to just treat him as guilty.

He’s unreliably a loose cannon and I’m glade he’s not at our club anymore.

But fair is fair.

More reliable than what Fox sport I’d reporting, absolutely.

You'd expect an ex cop to know

Alleged incident takes place between 2 parties with no witnesses. 1 of the 2 won't show up

almost impossible to prove. Hence charges withdrawn
That’s not how DV works.

Her statement can still be read in court, usually in the form of a video. Photos can be shown etc.

She’s not required unless there is more to the story.

A few years back, I was the subject of abuse, I had to front to court as there would have been an arrest warrant if I didn't

Yet the police side asked for it to be pushed back so she can appear.

Why would they not just proceed then?
