I like Taafe. He's no superstar but he's a decent fringe first grader who can play a bunch of positions, has pretty high potential ceiling and wouldn't cost very much. If Laurie goes next year he'd be a good addition to the squad.

Our Edwards replacement will be Jaxon Edgar hopefully. The kid is a freakish talent.

I'm yet to see this bloke on my telly. I did though some reading about his potential. I think Daine at 14 is a given. Very capable of coming in and doing a job like on the win or at fullback. Although I think he struggles when there for the full game. (I know that writes as clear as mud)

Is Edgar part of the top 30 or on a train and trial deal. Anyone know ?

Cole won't be there come Thursday night. So either Brad Sc or Blaize for me is a must. Both have qualities I'm sure, but which one fits best into the team and gives us a magic win......who knows....well beyond my pay grade.

I think Jason Edgar has ability, signed until end 2026 I believe, although whether he has freakish talent is yet to be determined. Not unlike all small bodied fullbacks, some make it, many don’t.

I suspect while Dylan Edwards has only 150 odd games under his belt he has had significant injury issues and not sure his body will cope with the rigours of NRL too long into his 30’s.

We have no trouble producing Fullbacks

If Edgar loses patience someone will be waiting.
Most of our rivals have quality fullbacks and decent back ups, it’s probably the position with arguably the most depth in the NRL.

Granted he’s playing up from where he probably should be at this point of his development but his lack of size is a worrying factor for me. There are numerous small sized fullbacks who enjoy a successful NRL career but I’m certainly not sold on him yet.

Have you seen much of Jack Attard, I’ve read the club rate him highly
