Not at hooker

Looked pretty good filling in at hooker tonight.

Hes passes were crisp.. only 1 tackle miss..

His not your typical 9.

Though cole isnt a 9 and people want him as 14.

He offers an elite (9 standard) kicking game from 9. Good passing and running game.. hes crafty.

He can cover 9, 13, 7, 6, centre, fb at a pinch..

Without the ball is the issue.

Really??? All the reports out of nz and media have been glowing. They want to keep him.. theres literally direct quotes from webster earlier this year taking about how much he rates tmm.y

I dont really believe these rumours..tmm came out a long time ago and said they were bs.

Do you really think a bunch of 20yo league players would be able to keep that a secret all these years haha....

Not a chance. Something wouldve come out by now if thered been any truth to it..
There is so much chatter about stuff like this all the time, Even with the Terrell May situation. Things get passed around X, Snapchat, Telegram all the time. But anyway back on topic.

Let’s see how that plays out.

It could be brilliant or it could be this.

So who will lose their place?

I don't know. The way Skelton throws himself into the line. And Doueihi's past injuries. It might just be a matter of time before either goes down injured.
Ignoring his past indiscretions. He is handy cheap backline depth for them for the remainder of the season. T and T contract. Minimal risk if he plays up.

I think it’s a very smart move by the tigers

What are the odds it ends in a double sacking? The Mays are good players but they just look like guys who have at least one more contract being torn up left to go in their lives. Ive said previously some kids have trouble escaping troubled upbringings, i dont know their situation but all 3 of them act like people who didnt have strong role models growing up.

Compare them to Critta or Bizza and how they carry themselves, you can tell what kids with strong positive influences in their childhoods look like as adults even if they come from a poor back ground in a rough neighbourhood.

Could go either way. Terrel is weird cat, but apart from whatever made us f**k him off I don't recall him doing much wrong. The Chooks let him go for a reason, but it's possible because he is just a weird cat, kind of like the Cheese not fitting in there.

If he keeps Taylan in check it will be good thing for them, if Taylan gets in his head then it could go the other way.

Both are bloody good players, so well worth the risk.

You can see the warning signs with Terrell. The carry on after not being picked for Origin gives away a fair bit. I'd say there were serious issues behind the scenes that the Roosters didn't disclose because they didn't want do lasting harm to his career. Not necessarily headline grabbing issues (drugs, violence, etc), rather things like personality issues, motivation, trouble integrating etc, that made him too big a risk to their culture. Plenty of red flags with Taylan too, even discounting the DV charge.

I'm with @betcats. Those two definitely have another early sacking in them. Will be weapons in SL afterwards though.
