Luron was a far bigger stand out in flegg then henry ever was and he has had dominate cup performances the likes of which Henry never came close to.

As for tough runs, Luron does that, he is just far better at it already. Henry gets dominated taking tough runs, Luron regularly dominates the contact. Remember when he ran over 3 or 4 broncos to score off a nothing play then took the hitup off the kick off and broke a tackle made some pct and got off a quick play the ball, he is a much better prop for taking tough runs. Ive never seen Henry dominate contact off the kick off hitup, both Liam and Lindsay for that matter regularly get smashed on those plays.

As for defence, Luron hits hard, his workrate isnt up to Henrys sure but Henry had four years on him. We might miss Henry sure you dont need to talk down Luron to make that point.

Fans sometimes overate their players.
Henry is a solid forward but he isn't anything I'd worry about losing. Patea is an undetermined talent but a big off season and he may overtake quite a few. Players at his age can explode over an off season. Id definitely be tolling the dice his way over Henry.

I'm looking forward to see how / if Luron has developed from last season and excited for his potential going forward. He can certainly be a point of difference for our forwards / team, i feel.

Luron is still very young. What hes shown in fg already is more than what leota, lindsay and henry showed at the same age. Fish was a bjt different as he didn't start as a prop and mostly played of the bench in the 2nd row first few seasons.

Hes very talented but talent alone doesnt fit into our system.

Hes not an established fg player.... any player that isnt thats a back should have dyl as their training standard and forwards should be Kenny.

No room for slacking or not putting in as a 20yo. Its the time when you should be most hungry.. if you aren't as hungry as ever to become an established player in probably the best team of all time then theres issues..

Whether you believe what luke bowden says or not it doesn't matter. Luron should be training the house down if he wants in... he should be doing extras and getting in early and keaving late like kenny and edwards.

If... and its a big if... because the standard they set is crazy high..but if he trys to match them.like he should be doing then he could be a very good explosive nrl prop. Which is really what we need.

Not uncommon for props to kick on a bit later like 23 onwards so the signings of the warriors boys on a 1 year deal makes sense.

Lussick, Going, Ale, Crosby and Moimo are all astute signings imo..

They come from a winning culture.. and webster wouldve implemented our systems so they would be in the know..

They come from the winning nsw cup team which were way too good over the course of the year... which given the warriors injuries in nrl side its very impressive. Normally when an nrl team goes down the nsw cup struggles but they dominated all year..

Throw in cogger.. who some may think is soo soo but imo he offers way more than schnieder.. schnieder was a better defender.. but cogger is much better in attack and is a decent defender..

The clubs looking pretty atm.

The way casey played in the pacific cup should have us licking our lips..

What we really need is for tago to own being the top dog and put casey in his place at keast for a few years.. tago has it in him but i think he lacks the confidence or self belief that casey has.. weve all seen what he can do at his absolute best. He can really tear teams apart when he wants to but to often his in passemger mode.. need to get him firing all the time from rd 1.

I dont really care who is on the bench as long as everyone gets on the field and does there bit for the team. You cant carry blokes as cover for halfbacks and they dont get used thats just silly.Take the brisbane semi for example sorenson goes down with a hia in the 1st 5 mins and schneider doesnt come on till the 70th min.So we literally played 65-70 mins with 15 men no wonder the boys were gassed.Me personally i like 4 forwards on the bench but 1 who is capable of covering centre if a back goes down.Having 3 forwards and a halfback or fullback on thr bench usually means 1 guy doesnt get on the field. You wont get away with it in the big games.

Our bench rotation has been fairly successful wouldn’t you say?

Penrith have basically been running 16 players each week, they have managed for a long time but it caught up with them in the Semi final loss. Not saying the reserves all have to play long minutes, but seems odd to constantly carry a Halfback on the bench.

The 4th bench player needs to be able to play Half/ Hooker but be capable of covering many positions if required.
