Mannah will struggle to make our starting team IMO mid next year.I don't rate the powder puff.

Watmough will be decent for the next two years I would say.Than after that ordinary.

I am now convinced that you're Josh Massoud.

Mannah is a good starting prop. Gets back early to take good hit-ups, rarely gets put on his back so a quick play the ball is inevitable, and he's very strong in defence. He was our #1 prop this year, he'll be our #1 prop next year and will be close to it again in 2017 along with Junior Paulo.

Although it'd be nice if he had an angry face, he'd obviously play better if he didn't smile all the time.

Mannah is a quality front rower. He isn't as fast as some props and obviously is no bigger than average but he is very strong and mobile and has a good motor.

I'd be happy with an announcement of 3 years starting 2015, knowing the third year might be dicey in terms of value on the paddock. If there's a 4th year option, hopefully it's in the club's favour.

As for how much, Manly would have to be footing the bill of money owed in his backended contract (I think I read $300K?), so we might be able to squeeze him in for less in his first season ($300K for a total of $600K), and then at full value over the final two seasons. If we're smart we will have had some component of the contract as a rep bonus (say $50K/year), meaning that if his form flags in the final year we can save a little from the maximum contract amount.

My tip

Lussick playing for a contract will be our best prop next year.
Mossop will surprise everyone and do very well
Jnr Paulo will improve more and be a genuine first grader next season.
Mannah will be the same. 110mtrs a game 25 tackles. Not pass.No break NO aggression

He's already an established first grader. I'm more interested in seeing weather he makes city vs country next year.

Watmough is a very similar signing to Ben Kennedy with Manly in 2005. He also was 31 when he joined Manly from Newcastle. Many thought Kennedy was washed up but his signing taught the upcoming and young Manly forward pack of 2005 plenty. Anyway 2 premierships and a couple of runners up medals showed everyone what a wise investment it was.

Hopefully we will do something similar with Choc.

Agree.

Kennedy was injury prone at newcastle and proved to be a great asset for manly.

Same type of signing for us no doubt.
