Blade did say contracted and non contracted players are on the radar so they'll be considering better but at least he's an option and people seem to rate him.
He's a decent player but he isn't an elite player like Angus. On his day he's a destructive ball runner but he drops the ball a fair bit, has some bad reads in defence, knocks himself out making tackles going low more often than most. He has the potential to be a top of the line second rower with freakish ball running but he's much less well rounded than Gus.

He's closer to Garner than he is to Liam Martin, Crichton, Olakau'atu, Kikau, etc. Probably has a lower floor than Garner too.

Sounds like the Roosters doing Roosters things and releasing the bad one and will keep their full rep pack.

The problem is. Say we do a deal because he is there, that then puts us out of play for say Leo Thompson. Who is better for longer term

Wow hahaha an all time backflip!!

I guess he read the fine print on the contract 'Roosters will be going through a rebuild for the next 3 years'

Hmm honestly i cant help but feel this might make it hard to sign the next bloke who comes up. Hopefully rorters re-sign Chrichton and thats it for forwards. Anyway something feels suss with Fifita, why opt out then decide to stay? was he just pushing for a pay rise?

Also if the titans have upgraded him that seems like a crazy move, they arent getting value for money on what they have been paying him and they are in desperate need in other areas. NRL never fails to dissapoint that is for sure.

Comes across like he was using the Sydney clubs to get more from the Titans.

So it wasn’t a case of East v West. Nor was it uncle Nick’s business skills. The partners career wasn’t even a factor. A premiership…nope. It was purely $
