Would definatley take douhi.
Not at centre. He's a ball runner. He's a 6 or 8.
A 6 to Trickys 7.
Burns at 13.

Bula in a heartbeat. That's a guy who has been starring every week behind a wooden spoon backline for 3 years. Catches everything. Breaks tackles and can defend.

Manager just doing his job. Striking while Blayke has the hot hand at the moment
Exactly.
To quote him shows as much.

“They [Cronulla] made an offer - we didn’t accept it,” Brailey’s manager David Riolo told Wide World of Sports.

“I put a counter offer and they are considering it. We are kind of in limbo at the moment.

“But the clock is ticking and if it can’t get sorted before November 1, he will go to the open market.”

Brailey is in great position, he would be smart to wait till November before he makes decision.
Perth can than offer him contract, it depends what he wants.
How much can he command, you would guess around $800k.
He will be 28 when his contracts expires end of next season.
This will be his last big pay day.
He would want a 4-5 year deal, be interesting to see what we would be offering against someone like Perth.
The club who might come for him big time is the Dargons

To keep Brailey, we have to be hard on other players who we believe have reached potential and we can do without for players who are younger.
Also players like Billy Burns are in a way so much more value then a BHU.
Someone like a Adam Dooeeee from Tigers on decent pay, can cover multiple positions.

Ramien, Katoa, Kennedy all possible players to move on end of year.
You can still be successful and have players leave Panthers and Storm prime examples

Brailey is our version of Jurbo. He loves us too much to leave but they will have to come up from the reported figure he is on. 700k would be a dream, 800k the ceiling if you believe that is what Grant is on.

You don't have to be a rep player to make $1million a year at Cronulla. Brailey isn't a rep player so no reason why he shouldn't get the big coin.

$800k and 4 or 5 boats should do the trick.
