Both to be expected really.

I’m a big fan of Katoa and would like him to stay, but I’d guess he’ll be in for a decent payday, and I’d rather not pay overs for him. I suspect he’ll get an offer too good to refuse from elsewhere that we shouldn’t match.

JC is expect will be a target for a fair few clubs, with Perth likely to offer overs - might be a struggle to keep him, depends how big the overs are. I’d be willing to pay a bit extra on potential, but given his injury history, we can’t break the bank on him. One we should be prioritising though.
So we haven't told Perth, that Hynes is available if they want him.
The slide starts in 2026, no premiership next year.
Another still can't move Ramien on.
Draw out next week, rumoured to be a home game, let's get Melbourne 1st up

What concerns me I keep hearing Dogs will let Burton go early to Perth, but no rumours on us offloading Hynes there, hoping it's getting done on the quiet.
Of Trindall or Hynes rather keep Trindall still, Hynes is already on down hill, he will only get slower and less effective

Ask Hannay if he fancies a 2 for 1 swap deal - we get Kini, he can choose either 1 of our halves, and then 1 of Ramien, Katoa, Will or Stoney….

So who are we replacing Hynes with ? Your suggestions would be interesting to know.
Hugo at Roosters would be an option he dosent want to wait.
We could have made a play for Pezet.
There is Riley Pollard he is old enough, Sanders is same age at Raiders, the roosters took a punt a couple years back on a unknown Sam Walker he goes ok.
It would also free money up with Hynes gone, he won't bring us a title.

I am so confident the club will go backwards next year.
We here offering Ramien up, but you can nearly bet if he stays he starts in week 1

Perth will never ever win a GF.
Be lucky to make the semi's.
Will score a marquee like Ponga or munster by paying 2mill and the rest of the side will be ramiens and ageing ex stars.

PNG. Will be worse.
Will never score a major star in their prime. Never.
The local talent wont compete at this level.
Will be a gold coast, but halved and divide by 3.

The best competition they could have would be to get rid of teams.
You want weak booze, keep diluting it.

I think Perth will be ok, I know super League was different beast but if the get structure right could be ok, what worries me it's Meninga involved had Bellamy or Cleary said I want to do a Perth I would be a lot more confident.
PNG will be absolute basket case, at first they will try and cover it up, say all is good.
I can see it being where PVL says I am leaving NRL that I have done it all, about 18 months later PNG unravels

Move Hynes to FB and and start BB at 7. I know that’s only moving the deckchairs but it might keep us performing. We could give Pollard a few games to see if he fits. I agree ,next year won’t be a good year. A lot of teams have worked hard on their rosters. And The coaching box has had changes, needed though.
