The Raiders have been pretty consistent in their refusal to let him go this season. Why would any club challenging for a finals spot release their number 1 backup half when their first choice has a knee that could go at any moment? I don't see it happening.

Why don't the Raiders and Dragons just merge already?

It seems the Dragons recruitment officer and probably Doust are at every Raiders game anyway.

It defies logic for both teams to make this move.

Warriors are already short on centres so releasing a current first choice centre makes no sense.

Souths have recently re-signed a couple of centres so adding another one who would cost way too much money for the sake of depth would be silly.
