Well he won't be a Dragon in 2025 -

Depends if a club wants to meet terms.

I'd imagine Dragons will say no deal unless the offer is for full freight... is someone going to stump up the $800k.. or a satisfactory player/value/cash proposition.

This could work out or give Lomax a massive ego hit.

The Cowboys brand of football indicates the defence is not important at all and you just need to score points. Plus they are a bit thin in the backrow.

NQ might be his destination.

Schuster for the high jump?

“Schuster suffered a bout of chickenpox and a finger injury heading into the season and Seibold’s decision to re-sign him until the end of 2027, which was questioned at the time with no other clubs chasing the youngster, has so far proved a costly one.”

Suffered a bout of chickenpox? Is that some sort of code for Schuster getting into the KFC again?

So he’s currently not on his 800k a season, kicks in next year, but he can effectively become a free agent right now as Manly had a fat clause, which Fatso has failed. Having that clause trigger after Easter was a genius move from Manly.

Or he can play out the season in reserves and look for somewhere new in 25.

That's a lotta 800k KFC to be carrying around, he must have some damaging nude photos of someone's wife to be still at the club

He probably did have chicken pox. You can actually catch it more than once. When adults get it, its often called "shingles". Once you hit 50, and if you had the pox as a kid, you can be susceptible to getting shingles.

He'll never see 1st grade again at those clubs, better off settling at Parramatta or Gold Coast, he'll definitely be the poster boy/scapegoat there
If he's got any hope of reaching his undoubted potential, it has to be in a good system with a strong coach.

Agree he doesn't have a show of making grade for those clubs right now.... but would Cleary, Bellamy or Robinson back themselves to sort him out? Because the potential upside is huge, even for those clubs.

Not its not, he is only special coz he is around rabble, that don't make you good at consistency winning games for your team, Bellamy and Cleary don't buy mugs, robbo does what he is told so different story, but it also mean he isn't some elite coach, having a superstar roster don't mean you win, a good coach gets the best out of their players and makes the team work as a whole, Roosters font do that, they just go out and paperbag the newest Dom young on the market and fit them into the squad full of globetrotters, Bellamy in my opinion is the only supercoach we have, he teaches work ethic, then fundamentals then blows you off your stool if you don't put in.... Ivan is close to it, but his strength is team first mentality, and building a culture of that, and fundamentals, you don't need superskills, just need to do your job... Schuster will fail the front door test, they don't buy a guy who gets by on talent alone
