Either NSW Cup or the interchange bench I dare say. Physically he's big enough to play lock/second row or hooker.

He's under contract till the end of 2026, so I wouldn't be surprised if he signs a contract extension in the not too distant future. People seem to forget he's only on a development contract at the moment.

The Roosters would be absolutely crazy to let go of Hugo Savala. Really rate him. Great long kicking game, solid defender and good attacker. Probably 3rd best rookie of the year behind Marky Mark and Halasima. Sure his form tapered off a bit but that’s standard for a rookie in his first season.

Roosters will be stuffed if either Walker or DCE get injured if they lose Savala. And DCE is not an organising half at all. Plays off the cuff most of the time like Sam Walker. They have Rodwell coming through the ranks but the worst thing you can do is bring him into 1st grade too quickly.

R360 did its job. A bargaining tool to get a bigger NRL contract. Gray deserves it though.
