Napa is crap has one or two shoulder charges per game comes in as the third man in an already completed tackle. Someone asked why the Broncos don't win comps very simple, Uncle Wayne has found love and is distracted. Or let's say his ego is very inflated at the minute.

Ben Hannant Forced Into Retirement
After 245 NRL games, 12 Origins for Queensland, six tests for Australia and two premierships with the Broncos and Cowboys, Ben Hannant has informed North Queensland last night that due to a chronic knee injury he has been forced to retire, reports Triple M NRL's Ben Dobbin.
The 31-year-old prop had rejuvenated his career at the Cowboys, having re-signed for another NRL season.
This leaves a gaping hole in the Cowboys forward pack, having lost James Tamou to Penrith and now another Origin forward in Ben Hannant.
“North Queensland is disappointed but talking to senior management they have plenty of money to go and buy a blue chip forward,” said Dobbo.
According to the Courier Mail, the Knights have tabled a $3 million, 5 year contract to Kalyn Ponga. Looks like Brown is going all in on this kid. Hard to say if it's genius or stupidity at this point... only time will tell.
Yeah amazing what a team has to try without an unlimited salary cap and constant favours from the NRL.Only Newcastle would spend 3 mill on a kid who has played 160 minutes of first grade. Insanity.
To be honest, it's as likely to be front-loaded as back-loaded with our current cap situation. We went from being very tight on the cap to having quite a lot to spend very rapidly throughout the season. There was over a million bucks of "talent" in Uate and T. Sims alone (500k and 600k respectively). We've actually got money to burn for next season if anything (like Ponga being released early) pops up.You'd assume it was heavily backended and incentivised....unfortunately, that's the reality of the game. Struggling sides have to pay more to attract high quality players....

Not every club can sign players for half their value "on the books", Sunshine.
Whilst you'd feel for the Cowboys, from a rugby league point of view that would be awesome. Sure he is unproven but he would bring a lot of hype and enthusiasm to the Hunter, something they desperately need.
One of the most talented young players the game has seen in a long time, rated by Thurston as the most talented kid he's seen. Worth the punt considering how royally f**ked our current situation is. He'll be on the same as what Tariq Sims and he can't possibly be any worse.I don't see a million dollar kid fixing Newcastle.
