That's not what I saidBecause the Roosters never do anything dodgy.
I've gone back and forth on it as a supporter but I keep coming back to the below lossesI hate what Dce has done but he’s still a good player
Manly not offering him what he’s being paid elsewhere is kinda stupid.
If he holds up well next year he may play on
Doubt he’ll be like Chad Robinson
How it impacts the young roosters halves and who they let go will be interesting

Fogarty has 1 year wonder written all over him TBH and Canberra have got that year out of him so good luck to them.Manly have come out of this the best. Fogarty is playing better than DCE now and doesn't carry the drama. I still think it's an awful decision by the Raiders to let him go.

In 6 of those matches we had a lead within the last 20 minutes and in a couple of cases a big lead. I don't think it's overboard to say that if nothing else changes other than having DCE play instead of Smith/Savala, we win at least 3 of those games.
As for the last part, Smith will go and Savala (already contracted for next season) will stay.

Manly will be getting a Brooks and Fogarty experience next year which should be entertaining.
I reckon Fog is a very good player and pretty well suited to Manly, and would have been the Roosters too.
He's got a great kicking game and he's a good game manager. He just lacks the ability to make a big impact on the game himself that a Cleary or a Moses type has. DCE used to but I don't know that he does anymore.
At Manly with a powerful back row and a good attacking backline I think he will be a good signing. But he's the kind of player who can look quite anonymous at times because he's just kicking and directing, that's certainly true. Interesting whether he can gel with Brooks too, I think Strange id the perfect foil for his kind of play. Not sure Brooks is

The decision to let Fogarty go wont be judged on what Fogarty does or doesnt do, it'll be judged on what Ethan Sanders does in his career
I don't think you can have two Ethans in the halves let alone in the whole side.
Strange and Sanders also share the same initials making it even worse.

Its unquestionably a big risk.
Ethan's Era is coming and im a little scared.
I'm not talking about win percentage, I'm talking about form. This is incorrect. His win percentage for the Raiders since 2022 is good and nobody should be judged for their time at the Titans.
He's gonna go from maybe the best forward pack in the league to one of the worstI'm not talking about win percentage, I'm talking about form.
Maybe he will excel next year but I'm doubtful.
Fogarty is solid halfback no doubt. I’d take him at Newcastle in a heartbeat.
But Sanders looks a very good prospect and will end up the better player. The Raiders have made the right choice.
