I guess a new club, clean slate salary wise, probably going to have some local talent on very little to kick off and also tax free, probably entitled to be a little more optimistic than a standard plod club in making offers to star players. I don't see Yeo or Chinry leaving personally but it's gotta be attractive in a few ways to guys approaching or entering their 30s even if it's not either of them specifically.

I doubt Nathan would sign with PNG. No disrespect to PNG, but like most clubs who first come into the league, they often will struggle due to a lack of quality in the roster. I can't see Cleary wanting to go to a side more likely to struggle by signing with PNG.

Yeah Shibasaki being a ‘Rep player’ just because he happened to play in a good side last year will add a couple hundred thousand more than he’s actually worth. Would love to see the Storm waste their money though.
