From the Mole:

Breaking: Moley hearing French club Bordeaux in massive bid to sign Semi Radradra from @TheParraEels - NOW!
If he accepts, will be back 2017

That does not make sense, as the Top 14 comp runs deep into the 2017 NRL season.

The 2016-17 French Top 14 season will kick off on August 20 and finish on June 4, 2017

Hindy, I hope you are right, but I just remember at the time of his signing Gould talking him up along with Soward and 500-600k for each of them was being bandied around. But if we could get Wallace for around 200-300k, since Penrith are suggesting NSW Cup time, he would be value and I would not sign De Gois at all. He was very ordinary at times last night. But I do like De Gois's aggression.

As for Kaysa, I think we can forget about him making any lasting impression on the NRL. His aggressive tackling style and his slight frame will be his undoing.

I think he needs to learn Jujitsu like Cameron Smith and do that catching style of tackling or something similar otherwise he will not last.

Stick that player assessment up your pipe OMC and smoke it.

I was dissappointed in both hookers yesterday. Besides one dart from Pritchard, I thought his service was poor. There were times where passes from both hookers were going behind the men doing hitups and it slowed their momentum trying to catch an awkward pass

I can't recall seeing a worse pass than that - ever.

Ash Taylor threw a similar pass for a try against us, difference is one found his man and the other found our man. I would say there was more luck in the former then exercution and sometimes thats all you need.

Agreed. I have been underwhelmed so far in Kaysa no matter what some people here keep saying. But I have been giving him the benefit of the doubt due to his stop start progression due to injury.

But after last night I feel it is time to cut our losses and wouldn't mind if we got rid of all of our hookers and started from scratch. Surely there are better option then the crap we have at the moment at other clubs lower grades that we can plunder?

Such a shame that we had a pretty damn good hooker on the books but had to let him go. Now we are back to square one. Some of those passes from dummy half last night were sub-Matt Keating stuff.

Brisbane Broncos: Jayden Berrell

Broncos coach Wayne Bennett values work ethic in his players and his under-20s hooker Jayden Berrell is all that and more. A Junior Kangaroos and Queensland under-20s representative this season, Berrell was one of five Broncos players named in the Holden Cup Team of the Year will join the Broncos’ full-time squad in the 2016 pre-season. Averaging 29 tackles per game, Berrell also boasts 16 line-break assists and 17 try assists in 24 games. A injury to Andrew McCullough and Berrell will be knocking on Bennett’s door, asking ‘To put me in Coach’.

Maybe this guy is worth a look at. He will struggle to get a regular NRL spot at the Broncos behind McCullough who is a sensational player.

Well he obviously is valued highly to be on the bench. How old is he and what type of game does he possess? Is he dynamic or a grafter?

Mid-twenties I think. A solid game but looks more of a grafter. Could probably play the full 80. Also I think he's good mates with a few Eels.

With this injury to Pritchard I must say that I am concerned with his long term durability. Like I said in game thread surely it must be about technique as it appears that most of his injuries have occurred whilst tackling.
