And I would think that Moss can find himself a new club.

BA will never listen to Hindy111 again.

Has Moss been a poor backup? He has been first choice at Wenty whenever available, though French will need somewhere to play next year if not in first grade. Moss probably won't be retained but not because he hasn't done the job he was brought in for. He wouldn't even be top 25.

You understand that I loathe gambling, right?

It ruins lives and destroys families.

Why would I be a party to that?

Why would I understand that? Your personal problems with gambling mean nothing to me.
But you basically said if he bets on it he will lose so nothing for you to lose. If he only puts a dollar on I don't think it will ruin his life.
Gambling doesn't ruin lives people ruin lives. I've seen plenty of people ruin their life and their families drinking. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that fact doesn't stop you from drinking.

So do drugs and so does booze.

But in moderation everythings fine. You can not blame anyone bar the person taking the actions. They are not forced to gamble drink or do drugs.

Ash I was purely asking the question to gauge Avengers confidence on us signing Hayne.
It was not about spruiking odds. No need to get all upset mate.

not sure I agree with that. Our squad is currently going along ok in 5th although their form has tailed off a little recently. The 4 you mentioned are good young kids but I'm not completely sold on any making the grade yet. The likes of Moeroa and Pauli had the size for first grade the current brigade don't. Obviously Grench is exciting and the most likely given fullbacks don't need to be monsters so he for mine is our best prospect. Fuimoano for all his achievements thus far seems a squre peg in a round hole. He isn't big enough for mine in the backrow and not fast enough for centre. Interestingly he sees himself as a centre and models his game in Inglis whereas the coaches see him in the backrow. I'm not sold of his ability to make it at either in the top grade. Dargan looks good and is still young and judging by his promotion to Cup is held in high regard. Although half is probably the hardest position to transfer from and he will need to be developed steadily for another few years. Twal has been good this year without sighting the world alight he is a good size in NYC but not the size that most of the top props are today in the NRL and there is generally a long process to get a front row from NYC to NRL level. Maybe I'm pessimistic although have seen too often the hype attached to our kids and the poor conversion. Hope I'm wrong.

Good post. Thanks for sharing.

 People ruin their own lives and destroy their own families.

Gambling, drinking, drugs are all just excuses people like to use to deflect from individual decisions.

It is true, people don't have to fire them at other people, once again just deflection.

I don't drink, smoke, gamble or even in the slightest like guns. I won't blame any of them for peoples decisions to partake in any of those activities and do stupid shit!

I used to take a lot of party drugs and it did not destroy my life. It wasn't a gateway into the harder stuff like Cocaine or Heroin or anything else, never had any interest in any of that stuff. Was offered it plenty of times and never even had a slight interest even while on the evil gateway drugs of speed and ecstasy!

Society just likes to blame everyone except the person who made the decision to get involved in whatever activity causes them to f**k up.

The only thing that stopped me getting hooked on coke was that I loved money even more. The others - pot, pills, smack - YUCK! What kind of loser enjoys feeling like that? Actually straight amphetamines are kind of fun too. It just doesn't make for good conversation.

So it has been suggested Norman is close to re-signing. Interestingly the reports also suggest he never went to the market and Wielder also asked a question about that today.

So where do the media get their info ? Wasn't the roosters / Penrith looking at him? Didn't the panthers offer him a contract ? Wasn't he visiting Penrith this week?

Never believe the media !!

!!

Except for that time they knew we had been sytematically cheating the cap and it was going to be a very harsh penalty and board members would lose their jobs.

Whether we like it or not the media are often tipped off and do get things right. They also get things very wrong too.
