All this talk about Hayne possibly coming back to Parra reminds me of the stories that were going around when Jamie Lyon was heading back to the NRL from super league, saying Parra were right in the running to get him back... I don't think he was ever a chance of coming back to us, nor do I think Hayne is. Media just yanking our chain.

Norman isn't worth the money we will give him - I may be in the minority but I would prefer to let him go and get Hayne back.

Tough one. See Hayne has the flashes of brilliance. But Norman touches the ball 3 x as much. Halves are still the most important players in game and the hardest to find.

Yep, I remember getting very excited and there was talk that his manager (or one of our employees?) over there to sign the contract.

Not sure I'd pay Norman 800k though, but it isn't my decision and if BA wants him then he'll decide if he's worth it.

What would you pay him? I think 700k would be a good deal. but if we had to throw an extra 100k id wear it.

Far be it from me to give a fig about the Roosters, but if I was them, I'd be forgetting about Hayne and targeting Corey Norman. I think he and Pearce would make a good halves combo. Latrell Mitchell looks like a star in the making. That try he scored the other night V the Titans, I swear the way he ran, it looked like Inglis in his hay day. And he's only 18.

As for us, yeah I'd be hanging on to Norman. I would be using whatever funds we apparently have to offer to Hayne to a decent, proven 1st grade prop. We must address our shortcomings up front for 2017 before we even think about looking at Hayne IMO.

I note Ualesi has been extended until the end of 2017. Really hope he can reach his potential

I LOL at the media. Kent's reasoning that he'll go to the chooks is because a) they can afford him and b) that Uncle Nick usually gets what he wants.

What i find odd....
Is roosters apparently paying half of jennings contract - Why? He only had a year to go so the whole they are paying 300k and we are paying 300k makes no sense as they went and spent 250 odd on COPLEY.
Second thing is we apparently where 200k under cap so if this was true wouldn't we off front loaded jennings contract this year to save for the following years?

Stuck with Jennings for 2016- He had 1yr left on contract.So 2017 he was not going to be there.
Copley cost apparrently 250k. So if paying jennings 300 to play for parra + copley 250k they are saving 50K
