Waiting, waiting, waiting. No need to actually compete In a real market for wanted players against other clubs.
As you know better than me Delboy we have some real prospects coming thru, including Lorenzo Talataina a 5/8 who was named Ball player of the series, and other backs and many middle and edge forwards. If just a few reach their potential I believe we'll be ok in the future regardless if we fail to attract any outside players.

The answer to the first question should answer this one. If there’s f**k all Phil Goulds in the game, why do you think we should be one of the few clubs with this sort of resource? When has our club ever been associated with people like this?
I’m not sure what the past has to do with anything. The goal is to continually improve. The Warriors had him on their books at one stage. Now the Bulldogs have him when they were in the absolute doldrums for ages. Are we any less resourced than them?

LOL....just when I thought today couldnt get any better.

Parra started the day expecting to announce that they have stolen the best Tigers Parramatta junior since Tedesco and they end up announcing the signing of a big fat guy who got sacked from the Tigers because he couldnt arrive at training....

Its not Christmas is it?

He and his team clearly have agency....they were given a rails run to the club that he supported as a kid, that have a a clear vacancy at 5/8, that UPPED their offer, ..............and he didnt want to play for Parra MORE than he didnt want to play for the Tigers........what a hilarious and delicious day....
Mate, I've never said I didn't want you here, the opposite actually, and I know your hurting bad but get over it and SHUT UP about Galvin. Nobody knows the truth here and all the speculation and innuendo here is just stupid rubbish. Get over it and move on!

Indeed, they just aren’t ready at the moment,, signing someone like Galvin possibly doesn’t hamper the last years of Moses, anyway keeping the right ones out of those beneath the NRL is crucial. There are some that I rate that remain unsigned, anyway they are supposed to be better judges than mere fans

Hopefully we move a number of Flegg players up toCUP next year and assist in their development. As before , a couple of astute and experienced signings will cover the loss of Galvin, having said that using the word astute with the current guys is moot.

We offered over $800k per year

Dogs got him on a deal that only reaches $750k in his final year.

eels confident on Friday night it was done after meeting with Moses prior to the manly game.

Dogs are sitting first on the ladder..

If they don't win the competition this year there will be 2 people getting the blame ..

Gould & Galvin.

How embarrassing. We didn’t need reminding that our shit management MON And Jim’s Mowing have no clue.

But Gould totally schooled them. And now it’s clear to see that absolute divide between what makes a club successful vs a shit one.

whilst we have these impotent dopes in charge, we will not win a premiership.

issac Moses wanted Galvin at Parra. The kid and his dad were put off by our management. The lack of passion that they have for the club in negations was very telling. Gould sold it easily.

We need smart passionate Parra people managing the eels. Not some blow win admin clerk who’s a saints supporter or an Ex Tiger. They don’t care and they don’t get it.

Get rid of them

I’m sorry but you can’t blame MON for that. His job isn’t to market our club, his job is to be accountable and play within the cap which he has been. Ryles’ job was to market the club, he is the face not Mark O’Neill.

At my previous job if i was ever running late to work i would ringing my boss to inform him.

Just to cover my own arse.

They may be circumstances but i doubt a club sacks a player for turning up to training late to 1 session.

Especially if they were made aware from the get go.

It would have been a pattern of behaviour that eventually led to it.
Or if he was being overpaid

until he was allowed to negotiate then found ourselves competing with a big dick for his signature, obviously we shat the bed like we normally do in those situations.
Did we shit the bed or just lost out to a better offer? We shouldn’t expect to get every player we’re after. It’s not like the Dogs have an Origin quality half already on the books. They need him a lot more than we do.

After reading this it's clear Galvin has played the club and Isaac Moses really well , he was never coming to the eels and as incompetent as O'Neill and sarantinos are not sure they could do much more , he will cause drama at whatever club he's at and we don't need him , over to oneill and co to find us a top shelf 5/8

Are you saying that Gould didn’t play by the rules and used the media to agitate the release by saying he is the best junior he has ever seen?

Better than Fittler, Johns, Kenny, Daley and Lockyer?

We offered him more money and a guaranteed spot next to an origin half and one of the best 7’s in the game. He is meant to be a Parra fan. I think if you love the club you would play for even just a little bit less. Obviously he has believed whatever Gus told him or he used us.

Either way he doesn’t want to be here so let’s not waste anymore time on the topic and find someone who wants to. Joash looks like a good prospect.
