Yep it’s been stated several times. Sexton for those struggling to keep up.

He is having a very good year. Not much of a run threat but he's tough, smart and can kick, and just about replaces Drown's defence. He's a first grader with 50 games under his belt, and not even at his peak. He's also off contract.

Consider he might actually play 7 for us, but with Moses running wider and doing the long kicking. Very similar to how Burton plays for the Dogs. But Moses would probably continue to wear the 7 jersey.

Merkins don’t give a shit about realistic options. Other clubs sign average first graders but if we do it, we are failures.

They rated him enough to pick him in first grade every week. They just rate Galvin higher.

I think no merkin has signed Sexton because he is holding out for the best offer. The Bulldogs will probably try to keep him as a dummy half option. And his defence is much better than Hawkins’.

Both tough, uncompromising and could bring back a winning mentality to our club.
Honestly Sexton is a much improved player and can play both sides of the field.
He probably plays more of a traditional half than Moses..
I know this won't be popular but it's not the worst that could happen...let's not forget they are players playing in the team coming first.. our recruitment in recent years has been players from teams coming nowhere near first...
I'd love to get one of them before June 30....unlikely but you just never know

I can see a world in which Sexton could be an okay signing and provide some sort of value to us. However the problem is that it feels like that is the only type of signings we are getting, okay at best. Now if we signed him alongside some other higher profile players then suddenly you don’t mind it.

Whilst I don’t particularly want Sexton, I’m not going to blow up if we sign him because Ryles thinks he’ll fit well with his system, and I have no doubt Moses will have a say in his halves partner, so that means he believes in that partnership too.

However I would be absolutely livid if we even considered bringing that turncoat gnome back to the club. Drank Gould’s coolaid and back flipped on a verbal agreement with the eels (sound familiar) and now it’s fallen apart he doesn’t get a homecoming and a welcome mat. Lie with dogs, get fleas. Merkin can get stuffed
