Have you guys watched this full interview? I think I have a man crush on Ryles. The emphasis he has on standards and the direct and aware nature he talks with I want to suggest might mean we have the best coach in the NRL.

Interesting he says the pre season will cement who their back rowers are, and who their forwards will be but that we will “have 1or two to add in that” which I take to be JDB plus another signing hopefully in this next period.

He also interestingly said with the turnover of squad and staff “we had 10 terminations”. Assuming there both players and staff who were effectively sacked?

Anyway, I absolutely love the big fella!

Also I’ve changed my mind if Radley. He is a f**king gun and versatile, I hope we get him he’d be another JAC story.

Members renewal email came out today.

Still 11 home games at Commbank in 2026.

With Darwin gone ill take a punt a few of options for 12th home game are Magic Round or hosting a Double Header in Christchurch at the new stadium opening up with the warriors but playing probably a low drawing QLD side.

Maybe the nrl will push more games in Perth throughout the year to build the hype

We have never had a home game slated for Magic Round.

Maybe making it a home game will turn our luck around on that weekend

I think we have one of the worst records in magic round were battling atm 1 win from 6.

Including a few embarrassing losses to Melbourne in there.

There you go

Maybe the club has signed off taking the next 5 home games to Magic round?

Not that they will advertise that to Parra members, if it were true, which probably isn't, but if it was.....

I was thinking the club should take that 12th home game back to Accor for Easter Monday/kings birthday weekend alternating yearly , I know it’s not the best stadium but i have some great Easter Monday memories when we got 50k and with the dogs crowds growing we should get a piece of the kings bday weekend, why should they get the guaranteed big gate every year.

NRL sure does like giving Melbourne to us at the worst times … magic round / round 1

Jim mentioned at the Q&A earlier in the year the club were looking for a new long-term partner for 1 away game each year, but were dealing with the Vegas situation in 27 meaning we couldn't sign a long term deal starting 26.

My guess is we'll be the home team for magic round in 26, the home team at Vegas in 27, and then have a new long term "home away" agreement in place from 2028. Hoping somewhere still rationale for members and fans to travel to - like Coffs Harbour possibly

I'll give this a shot. I'm going with the old 'a bit from column A and a bit from column B' scenario. Great players can't do it on their own. It's all about getting the team to function as a team so the star players get a chance to show their wares. I reckon one of the smartest moves was putting Hopgood in the front row. He seems to flourish there. Smith is a much more developed player at the end of this year than this time in 2024 and the other youngin's who've been given a chance haven't let Ryles down.
I said it before. If we solely rely on Mitch then we will continue to go nowhere. The team mentality has to become paramount for us to go to the next level. The next piece in the puzzle is who will grab the 6 jersey by the balls.

I'd go with Adelaide. Similar weather, way better venue than Darwin and would draw a decent crowd with the right marketing.
