On what rugby league planet does it not make sense to have Foran and Cronk as your halves if you can pull it off??

On the planet where there is a salary cap and you're paying market price for both of them.

Hasler is tasked with winning a premiership in the next 2-3 years, it makes perfect sense to get them both if he believes that's what will do it.

And I doubt he believes he should be spending that much on his halves. To get your money's worth out of an elite half you need to get him as much ball as you can. That means fewer touches for the other half. If the other half is on elite money then you're not getting your money's worth out of him.

Maybe Foran is no longer worth elite money but he looked pretty f**king good last week. I can't see Cronk and Foran ending up at the same club.
